This successful team is now our Dorset U18 League for 2026/2027 Season

Hamworthy Recreation Football Club

Our First Team joined the Velocity Wessex League for the 2022/2023 Season and finished fourth in the League.

The First Team were the winners of the Velocity Wessex League Division 1 in the 2023/2024 Season to be promoted to the Premier Division.

Our Reserve Team have rejoined the Dorset Premier League for the 2024/2025 Season.

We have an U18 Team in Division 1 of the Dorset Football League U18 League

Hamworthy Recreation FC is affiliated to Dorset FA.

💚RIP Steve Sharkey 💚
Everyone at Hamworthy Recreation is deeply saddened by the passing of Steve “Sharkey”, a true club legend.

As our Goalkeeper Coach and a valued member of the management team for many years, Sharkey gave so much to the club and was loved by everyone who knew him. His passion, dedication, and friendship touched countless players, staff, and supporters.

He will be greatly missed by all at Hamworthy Recreation.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Sharkey. 💚
